रोग क्या है? (What the disease is?)

हमारे शरीर की गंदगी फेफड़ों और सांस के द्वारा, त्वचा के असंख्य छिद्रों द्वारा, पसीने के द्वारा तथा पेट की गंदगी मल-मूत्र के साथ बाहर निकलती रहती है। यदि किसी कारणवश शरीर की गंदगी बाहर निकलने में अवरोध होता है तो प्रकृति को मजबूर होकर इस गंदगी को बाहर निकालने के लिए असाधारण रूप धारण करना पड़ता है। प्रकृति के इसी असाधारण रूप को साधारण भाषा में ``रोग`` कहते हैं और चिकित्सा विज्ञान की भाषा में मूल रोग के लक्षण कहते हैं। रोग का एक और नाम शरीर की अस्वाभाविक अवस्था होती है। सामान्यत: जब तक रोग सुषुप्तावस्था में विजातीय द्रव्यों के रूप में शरीर के अंगों में व्याप्त रहता है। रोग का न तो कोई नाम होता है और न ही उसकी कोई आकृति होती है किन्तु जैसे ही वह बाहर निकलने के लिए प्रकट रूप में आता है तो उसे विभिन्न नाम दे दिये जाते हैं।

Filth of our body keeps on coming out through lungs and breathing, innumerouspores of the skin, perspiration and filth of the stomach keeps on coming out through stool and urine. If there is any kind of obstruction in the excretion of the filth, nature has to adopt abnormal form to expel out the filth from the body. This abnormal form of the nature is called disease in general language and this form is called the symptoms of the main disease in medical language. Another name of the disease is abnormal stage of the body. Generally, there is no name and form of the disease when the disease remains in the body in tranquilizing stage in the form of abnormal liquids but different names are given as the disease appears.

जैसे हमारे शरीर में फोड़ा निकलने के बहुत पहले फोडे़ का बीज हमारे शरीर में मल के रूप में आरोपित हो चुका रहता है। इसका कोई नाम पहचान नहीं होती है तथा यह शरीर में पड़े-पड़े वृद्धि करता रहता है और समय पाकर यही बीजरूपी जल फोड़ा बनकर शरीर से बाहर निकलता है। तब उसे विभिन्न नामों जैसे जहरबाद, कारबन्कल, चेचक, गलका, गूंगी आदि नामों से जाना जाता है। इसी प्रकार शरीर का संचित मल परिस्थितियों के अनुसार कभी ज्वर के रूप में प्रकट होता है तो कभी दस्तों के रूप में तथा कभी अन्य रोगों के रूप में उभरकर शरीर से बाहर आता है।

Seed of the boil has been rooted its root in our body before long period in the form of stool. There is no name of it and it keeps on increasing lying in the body. This seeds appears on the body as it gets time to appear. Thereafter, it is known by different names as jaharbad, carbuncle, chicken pox, galka, gungi etc. In the same way, sometimes stool of the body existed into the body appears in the form of fever and sometimes in the form of loose motions and many other diseases from the body according to the circumstances.
